Hopelessness pins me to the wall of doubt;
My heart does not reach you.
I find no resonance of your heartbeat;
And the pauses are getting bigger too.
I am afraid my sighs will pierce the wall
And my tears shall echo their fall.
You think you can get by without me
And I can feel it in my gut too
You lament the futility of this emotion
As I rue the wasted dimensions of love!
